The St. Paul's mission statement is no less true for the ministry of Christian marriage. Through every step of the process in the ministry of marriage, St. Paul’s seeks to embody what it means to support and guide couples in knowing and following Jesus Christ as a married couple.
The ministry of preparing for your marriage and planning for your wedding at St. Paul’s begins with your inquiry and the reading of this informational book. We encourage you to pray together as a couple, to ask questions, to dialogue with the pastor who will officiate at your wedding, and to take the responsibilities necessary to not just plan a wedding, but to prepare for a lifetime of love in the mutual, caring relationship that marriage can be.
Weddings are conducted at St. Paul’s for both members and non-members of the church. We are honored that you have chosen to grow in your faith and love to each other and also to God by coming to St. Paul’s for your wedding and marriage. Contained within this booklet is the information you will need to prepare and plan for your wedding.
