Youth Announcements at St. Paul's UMC

Care Packages for College Freshmen - Everyone likes to get mail and we know the kids who graduated from youth group last year would love to hear from us so we'd like to send them a care package.  We need some large shoeboxes and we are asking for donations of the following items by October 5th:
    6th & 7th graders - gum, granola bars, pretzels, money for mailing
    8th & 9th graders - trail mix, goldfish, fruit snacks, money for mailing
    10th, 11th & 12th graders - chocolate, starburst, money for mailing

Wednesday, Oct. 12th - Special Guest speaker from 6 to 7:30 pm in the Wesley Center

All Youth Lock-Out October 15 to 16 - This will be a fun, all-night event at a cost of $35 per person.  Activities include a team building, lunch, scavenger hunt, dinner, activities TBA, pumpkin carving, breakfast, sunrise worship.  Sixth through twelfth graders must sign up ahead of time so accurate plans can be made.  Youth members can bring friends ($35 fee & registration needed).  Youth will receive registration forms from Phil.
Drivers are needed for a scavenger hunt during the afternoon on the 15th and adults are needed to chaperone throughout the event.  Please contact Phil at okduckman@aol.com<mailto:okduckman@aol.com> to volunteer

Chocolate Sunday Schedule - Selling chocolate is an important youth fundraiser.  Below are our sale dates.  We have assigned certain grades to each date.  Youth should meet Lee Ann Dielschneider at the alley doors at 8:15 am and plan to help sell chocolate between services until 11:45 am.
