BOOK OF JAMES
Wednesdays Feb 20-Mar 19
6:15-7:15 pm Rm 317
James is perhaps the earliest New Testament book, a transition between
the more works- centered faith of earlier authors and the more belief-
centered faith of Paul and later authors. Much of James parallels the
Sermon on the Mount. Join us for probing Bible study and lively
discussion. Led by John Arbore.
SOJOURNERS
CLASS Wednesdays
6:15pm Rm 315
We will take
the previous Sunday’s sermon scriptures and have an adult Bible lesson
on those scriptures. Then we will take those same scriptures and
make them relevant for you to use in teaching your children the Bible
truths found in those scriptures. We will explore those scriptures
using stories, activities, songs, and more, to help you teach the Bible
to your children. This will be a class to expand the lessons from
the sermons and help you make the scriptures relevant for your children
and nourish you in your faith.
