St. Paul's Cottage, Bell Harbor (Clear Lake, Iowa)

The cottage is a part of the Bell Harbor Homeowners Association. It is an ideal site for retreats, recreation and family gatherings.

Priority is given to St. Paul’s groups and programs now until Oct.31 , 2011 for reservations for the year 2012 summer season (Memorial weekend to Labor Day).  November 1 through November 30, families of St. Paul’s will have an opportunity to make reservations.  On December 1, the cottage is available to other groups and families to rent.

Rates are the same for all applicants.  The cottage will be rented as a complete unit.  It is preferable to rent it by the week, and will have priority over renting by the day (except for church groups)

Rates for the year 2012 are $600.00 per week.  $135.00 per day on Friday and Saturday.  $110.00 by the day Sunday-Thursday.  Reservations for the week are Sunday, 4:00p pm - Sunday 3:00 pm.

Reservations begin at 4:00 pm of the 1st day and end at 3:00 pm of the last day

Reservations are not confirmed until a receipt of a signed application (on the reverse side) along with a deposit of $100.00.   This deposit will apply to the rental fee.  The balance of the fee is due 2 weeks following confirmed reservation or 2 weeks prior to reserved date, whichever occurs first. One-half of the balance is refundable if notice of cancellation is received during the two weeks prior to dates reserved for your occupancy.  Full refunds will be made in all cases in which the cottage can be re-rented during the canceled period.

Keys are to be picked up at St. Paul’s UMC in Cedar Rapids.  A $25.00 refundable deposit for the keys will be made.  Upon the return of the keys and a check-list for the clean-up, the deposit will be returned.
