8:15 Sunday Communion Worship

St. Paul's UMC provides an intimate communion service weekly in the chapel on the lower level. Childcare is provided for this worship service. (Childcare is on the main level, opposite the music center.)

  • Where is it? This service is in the Chapel on the lower level closest to the 14th Street entrance on the East side of the building.
  • Who will lead? Pastor Harlan or Pastor Sherrie almost always lead this service.
  • What to wear? Most of the attendees are in Sunday best clothes, although you would fit in with dress slacks for both men and women.
  • Who else attends? The majority of attendees are mature adults.
  • What is the music like? Traditional hymns will be led by an organ, other music is rare.
  • How do I follow along? By using your bulletin, hymnal, and Bible, if you choose along with the reading of scripture. This service is usually over around 8:55 to 9:00 am.
