Disciple Bible Study Classes

Bible study aimed at transformation--Not just information

The purpose of Disciple Bible Study is to develop strong Christian leaders through regular in-depth study of Scripture.  When you participate in Disciple, you will be strengthened in your faith and, perhaps,  guided into service and ministry because of that training.  Strong, biblical-nourished leadership will help our church grow in vitality and Christian discipleship because the Disciple program can deepen our faith, encourage stewardship, create fellowship, increase membership, and transform lives.

Participants commit to:

DISCIPLE I
Becoming Disciples through Bible Study--A 34-week study that moves through the biblical story from Creation to the new Jerusalem, Genesis through Revelation.

DISCIPLE II
Into the Word, Into the World--A 32-week study of Genesis-Exodus and Luke-Acts. Disciple II students should be graduates of Disciple I, and will be building on the lessons of Disciple I.

DISCIPLE III
Remember Who You Are--A 32-week study of the Prophets and the Letters of Paul.  Disciple III students should be graduates of Disciple I.  You will be building on the lessons of Disciple I.

DISCIPLE IV
Under the Tree of Life--A 32-week study of the Old Testament Writings (including Ruth, chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, Lamentations, and Daniel) and the New Testament John books (including Gospel of John, 1,2,3 John, James, Judy and Revelation).  Disciple IV students should be graduates of Disciple I, but not necessarily Disciple II or Disciple III.
