To know and follow Christ, and to help others know and follow Christ

Lenten Study

Lenten Study

Each year, St. Paul's United Methodist Church engages in a church-wide Lenten Study. All adults and many of the youth are encouraged to sign up to participate in small-group study, to engage further with each other as we try to know and follow Christ and help others to know and follow Christ.

The 2012 Lenten Study is 24 Hours that Changed the World by Adam Hamilton
This year’s Lenten Study is a powerful, life- and church-transforming resource based upon the last 24 hours of the life of Jesus.  Each week we will explore in depth the insights of faith and for living as vibrant Christians in our community, in our homes, as the church and in the world.  If you’d like to look at the study in more depth log on to cokesbury.com and type in the title.
Sign ups and book reservations will be available beginning this weekend in worship. K-4th grade children will be participating in the study through their regular TGIW activities. Youth , nook and kindle editions are available, as well as the companion book of devotions, “40 Days of Reflection.”
The study begins with Ash Wednesday, February 22!
