St. Paul's
Library
History and
Information
St Paul's Library opened its doors in 1946. At that time, it was known as the "Fireplace Library" because it was in the fireplace area of the foyer. Today, the library is in room 113. Throughout its history, the library has had many volunteers. There are currently 25 volunteers contributing to this ministry.
The library collection contains over 7,000 items both religious and secular including books, videos and audio tapes. Books can be checked out for three weeks and videos and audio tapes can be checked out for one week.
The library also has a children's room that has become a favorite place for both parents and young children. The children's room contains over 800 selections of religious and secular books and videotapes with Biblical and Christian moral messages. Story time is held September through May in conjunction with the early childhood programs within the church.
Your Church Library is a vital part of St Paul's many outreach programs. Its collection can supplement Sunday school programs, Bible Study classes and many other Church activities as well as personal enrichment. Library resources are available for people of all ages.
Did you miss worship? Not to worry, because St Paul's videotapes its Saturday evening celebration and Sunday morning services (9:25 a.m. and 10:55 a.m.). Videotapes can be checked-out for one week.
