To know and follow Christ, and to help others know and follow Christ

Serendipity

Serendipity Sunday School Class

The Serendipity Bible Study class meets at 10:20 am on Sundays in room 325. The total membership is only 18, but average attendance is 10-12 members. Most of the class is made up of couples, but singles are very welcome. Serendipity was started shortly after the conclusion of the 2005 church-wide Lenten study of the Rick Warren book The Purpose Driven Life.

Diverse age is a key ingredient to this class. The class ranges in age from late 20s to early 80s. Each member wants to better understand what the Bible has to say, and to see how it applies to everyday life. Key elements of the relatively new class are the range of faith journeys of the members of the class, and how much the members of the class enjoy the fellowship and friendship of each member.

The class completes the church-wide Lenten study each year and takes a break in the summertime. Several of the class members have attended or are currently attending BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) and enjoy sharing those experiences with the other members of Serendipity Bible Study. The class is studying the book of 1 Peter, and may move on to 2 Peter, if time permits. The door is always open to visitors and guests of all ages who enjoy “getting back to the Bible” studies. Come join the Serendipity Bible Study class in room 325.
