CONGREGATIONAL CARE
The Congregational Care Committee provides for the planning and implementing of the congregational or pastoral care ministries of the church.
Care Notes provides spiritual information for persons in need of spiritual direction during various crisis. The Care Notes need to be ordered and racks need to be replenished.
Errands...If you can drive a car and lift 10 pounds, have a willing heart and have helpful hands, you can help many people at St. Paul's.
Faithful Friends extend the unconditional love of Christ by sharing their pets. This group brings their pets to nursing homes, care centers and to those who are shut in.
Flower Delivery need caring, compassionate people to deliver flowers to members of the congregation who need their day brightened. Some flower arranging ability is helpful but ability to converse with strangers is primary.
Homebound Visitation show love and concern for elderly and homebound persons at bi-monthly visits and calls.
Lay Eucharist Ministry Team serves Holy Communion to homebound and members in care centers on a quarterly basis and more often as requested.
Newborn Visitation deliver the rose dedicated on the altar to the newborn's family and follow up with spiritual information for the growth of our newest members.
Nursing Home Visitation carries love and support to members and suggested non-members in care centers. Prayers are offered as requested. A cheery disposition is needed.
Post Hospital Visitation express concern from St. Paul's for the additional needs that need to be addressed during recovery.
ADF is a Christ-centered program for recovery and support of families and friends of alcoholics through applying the truth of scriptures, working the twelve steps, and sharing in fellowship with others overcoming the effect of a loved one's addition.
PRAYER MINISTRIES TEAMS
Prayer ministries teams pray for submitted prayer requests. Confidentiality is a must. There are four aspects to this team.
Chapel Flock Tenders come to chapel to pray for listed prayer requests. This ministry could use as many as 60 persons.
Healing Service presents scripture, homily and meditation moments during the healing service.
Knee-mail...E-mail prayer chain. This ministry is open to persons who desire to pray for others and are willing to update e-mail as needed. Confidentiality is key.
Phone Prayer Chain prays for other's needs and is willing to call next person on "chain" to relate prayer needs. Confidentiality is key.
