SERVICE MINISTRIES

• Acolyte Leader plans and implements acolyte training events and other acolyte activities.  The members of this team help teach training classes, help organize and conduct a retreat, develop acolyte schedules and coordinate acolytes on Sunday morning.

• Technologies incorporates three groups that operate and maintain equipment used to enhance worship service on Wednesday evening, Saturday evening and Sunday services.  Their duties range from preparing the power point presentations to playing and recording during service and taping for television broadcast.  There are many responsibilities entailed in these positions.  Knowledge of PCs, acoustics, electronics, videotaping or television production would be helpful.

• Christmas Sanctuary Decorations decorates the church for Christmas and takes down after.

• Chancel Servants help provide a worshipful atmosphere to the chancel area of the church.  They change paraments as needed, prepare for baptisms, decorate communion table for special occasions, assemble candles for special services.

• Communion Stewards volunteer to assist in preparing for and offering Holy Communion in the sanctuary on the first Sunday of the month.

• Ushers distribute bulletins, assist those attending worship in locating seats and collect offering.

• Wedding Coordinators assist couples in planning for their rehearsal and wedding.  The coordinators meet with the couple a few times and assist the minister at rehearsal.
