SHALOM!

Shalom! is an adult Sunday School class devoted to direct Bible study and discussion. The class now meets in Room 103 at 10:20 a.m., and is led by John Arbore.

We focus our attention in three areas:

1. What does the text say? Here we compare versions of the Bible and consult various study aids to determine as objectively as possible what the Bible actually says.

2. What does it Mean? We try to interpret the Bible in its historical context and down through the ages. A very crucial consideration is whether the New Testament revelation refutes or supplements the Old.

3. What do we do with it? This is a search for relevance and application to everyday life.

Shalom! welcomes all of post-high school age who enjoy spirited discussion about the Bible and its message for us.
