Children's Music Ministry

Children’s Music Ministry at St. Paul's

The children’s music ministry program includes three choirs. During the year, each choir regularly shares God’s presence through the gift of music during a Sunday service and additional events such as Holiday Fair.

  • Star Choir provides some of St. Paul’s youngest members the opportunity to experience God’s gifts through song and activities.  Comprised of pre-school students, the choir is led by Janet Schroeder and accompanist Amy Maki.  Meets Wednesday evenings during the school year (as part of TGIW) at 6:00 in room 307.
  • Cherub Choir consists of kindergarten through second-grade students and is directed by Wendy Morton with assistance from Steve Schroeder. Meets Wednesday evenings during the school year (as part of TGIW) at 6:45 in room 101.
  • The 3rd-5th graders are involved in Chapel Choir, which is directed by Kelly Truax. Chapel Choir meets Wednesday evenings during the school year (as part of TGIW) at 6:45 in room 117.

In addition to these organized choir ensembles, students share in God’s teachings through music activities Sunday morning before or after Sunday school and in children’s chapel, and have musical opportunities through Vacation Bible School.
