UMW Reading Program

We encourage you to participate in our United Methodist Women's Reading Program.  Keep a list of the books you have read in the program, and turn it in to the library in September.

Reading plans range from reading one book in each of the following categories...

  1. Education for Mission

  2. Nurturing for Community

  3. Social Action

  4. Spiritual Growth

plus RESPONSE magazine...
to a total of twenty books (four books from each category)  plus RESPONSE and NEW WORLD OUTLOOK magazines.

If you are able to read ONLY ONE book from the UMW cart, please report it, too.  The UMW books concern such a wide variety of interests, some of them will surely add to your spring and summer reading enjoyment.  Whether you are reading for entertainment, inspiration, challenges, knowledge, comfort, spiritual awakening, or any other reason, we hope you will find an answer.  Our goal is to report an increase in St. Paul's UMW readers this coming fall.
We will continue to add new books to the cart, and would appreciate any requests you might have after looking through the 2005 list.  The 2005 Reading Program list is on the cart, along with copies of RESPONSE  and NEW WORLD OUTLOOK magazines.
