Voyagers Class
The Voyager Sunday School Class meets Sunday mornings at 10:20 a.m. in room 327.  The class was established in the early 1980's and is comprised of singles and married couples with ages covering at least three decades (30, 40, & 50 year olds).  Our children's ages range from 2 to 31 years.  Anyone who would care to join our class is always welcome.  The class environment is one of lots of open discussion, with a good mix of serious study and fun.  We also socialize as a group several times a year.
Starting, Sunday September 12, Lora Lea Edwards will begin leading a new series entitled "Know the Stage of Your Soul" based on the book "Five Stages of the Soul" by Harry Moody.  Much study has been given to how the human body ages, but only more recently has thought been given to how the soul of a person is affected by age.

Who am I?  Where am I going" What do I do next"  These questions become a new quest for the meaning of life because of the stage of aging we are in.  For the same reason, other questions get added, "How do I know when my relationship with God is as good as it gets?  How do I keep growing as a disciple of Christ or am I in maintenance mode?  We do well to revive the question that John Wesley asked at the weekly 'Holy Club' meetings which became the prototype for the Methodist Church, "How has your soul faired this week"?
