Mission Statement

To develop a Sunday morning educational experience, for kindergarten through fifth grade children, using environments and the rotational model. To teach our children Bible principles and help them apply those principles to life.

Explanation of Workshop Rotation Model

Workshop Rotation Model is an educational model where students actively participate in the teaching - learning environment and move or rotate from one workshop to another on a weekly basis. Rather than learning a new Bible story each week, the children will spend 5-6 weeks at a time going over the same story through the different approaches in the workshops. The children learn the story thoroughly, but don't get bored with it.

Besides placing emphasis on how the story is taught, feelings about the teachers/leaders and the lesson activity link to feelings about God, the church and the Bible. Research tells us that people of all ages tend to learn more by seeing and doing than by talking and listening. The children will be involved in the Bible passages through art, drama, story telling, customs and foods, video media and faith/computers/geography.

Teachers are recruited for one rotation at a time which matches teaching style and interests with specific workshop focus.
