Youth Mission TripsYouth Word Ministries Summer Mission Trips 2011This summer, two special mission trips are planned in which the youth of St. Paul’s can strengthen and share their love of Jesus Christ. June 21-25—Mid-High Mission TripDestination: Camp Hitaga and Cedar Rapids The mid-high youth of St. Paul’s will be based at Camp Hitaga, where they will also do service projects. In addition, the youth will rotate to work at Matthew 25 and at Mission of Hope in Cedar Rapids. Every day will have opportunities for games and relationship building, fellowship, worship, and prayer, as well as work that needs doing. We hope that these young people learn a new appreciation for the issues facing their home community, and that they are empowered to make a difference in peoples’ lives right now to the glory of the Kingdom. Information and registration packet. July 17-July 23—Sr. High Mission TripDestination: Camp Hitaga and Cedar Rapids The senior High Youth will stay at Camp Hitaga, and work in Cedar Rapids with flood relief, Habitat for Humanity, Block by Block, and Marion Cares. They will also be holding a sports camp for kids. They will work and play together with each other, and with members of the larger community as they share their faith, and grow in faith through service in the name of Jesus Christ. Information and registration packet. Please support all the youth of St. Paul’s by taking advantage of their fundraisers, by praying for their time together, and by offering them opportunities to share and grow in their faith.
