At St. Paul’s Mid-High Students have opportunities to gather with others their own age, in a safe place that they can trust to help figure out the things that are heavy on their minds and find their place in God’s World
Mid-High Youth Group| WEDNESDAYS AT 6:30-7:30 pm
Our Mid-High Wednesday night ministry (grades 6th-8th) is an offering for all Mid-High youth. It is a social opportunity for students to grow in their faith and LOVE being at church. Led by a caring group of adults seeking to lead students closer to Christ through icebreakers, learning activities, large group teaching, small group discussion, and prayer.
Mid-High Power Hour (Sunday School) | SUNDAYS AT 10:20AM During The School Year
Our Mid-High Sunday school ministry (grades 6th-8th grade) is an intentional time of fun and learning. An opportunity to dive into age appropriate topics, go deeper into scripture and practice faith together. We encourage all to join us for our 9:00am service as well.
Confirmation | Sunday Evenings September- May
Confirmation is a continuation of what God started in baptism; for that matter, confirmation is a continuation of what God started in the community of faith in your child’s baptism. While confirmation is the moment your teenager confirms the vows taken on his or her behalf in the baptism, it remains a communal experience, whereby the church sees the faithfulness of God at work in and through your teenager. At confirmation, your teen publicly professes personal faith in Christ and commits to faithful stewardship of time, talent, treasure, witness, and service in the body of Christ and the world. In baptism, we are initiated into the family of God, and in confirmation we publicly declare our allegiance to Christ and Christ’s church.
Confirmation is traditionally taught during the 8th grade year, however, we invite those who are in 9th grade and beyond, to join in as well. Parents do not need to be members of St. Paul’s for a child to participate in the confirmation class.
