Milestones in Christian faith are a big deal at St. Paul’s—especially for kids. The Milestones program is a way of marking certain milestones in children’s faith development and knowledge of the Christian faith. Each year there is a Milestone for each grade from age 4 through 4th grade. Parents/grandparents participate in these events with their children so the whole family is equipped to grow in faith together.
Faith development begins at home. Families learn to pray, worship, serve, and read Bible stories together. Four year olds are presented with story Bibles to take home and read as a family. (10:20-11:20 am)
Along with baptism, communion is a sacrament in which we receive God’s grace. Learn together about receiving communion and what it means. In The United Methodist Church, all ages are welcome at the communion table, so this is not a “first communion” experience.
